We are delighted to welcome Emily to the studio a meaningful addition to a growing team shaped by shared values, curiosity, and a commitment to responsible design.

Our connection began through the Modern Artisan programme, where a mutual appreciation for craftsmanship and sustainability quickly became evident. What started as a conversation evolved naturally into a shared vision: to create fashion that is not only considered in its making, but thoughtful in its impact.

Emily joins us with a strong foundation in sustainable fashion and a particular interest in material innovation. She previously worked as Assistant Exhibition Co-ordinator on MIMA’s Chemical City, an award-winning exhibition exploring the evolution of synthetic materials  from their origins to their role within today’s sustainability landscape. This experience reflects a wider curiosity that underpins her work an interest in how materials can tell stories, hold histories, and shape more responsible futures. Check out exhibition here: MIMA Chemical city.

Alongside her role with us, Emily is currently pursuing a Masters in Sustainable Fashion at Falmouth University, where she continues to deepen her understanding of responsible practices and innovative approaches within the industry. Her perspective is both analytical and creative, grounded in research yet open to experimentation a balance that feels particularly aligned with our own design philosophy.

At the core of our studio is a belief in creating with intention. Each piece is designed to be enduring, with a focus on craftsmanship, material integrity, and a slower, more thoughtful approach to fashion. Emily’s values and vision sit naturally within this ethos, and her presence marks an exciting step forward for the brand.

We look forward to sharing more of this journey  and the work that will emerge from it  in the months to come. Read more press on Emily here
