Recently, I had the absolute privilege of attending the premiere of ‘Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision’ at Windsor Castle, and yes, that’s exactly as surreal as it sounds. It was the first time a film premiere has ever been held at a Royal Residence, and sitting down to watch a documentary inside a castle genuinely felt like stepping into another world.

The setting alone was magical. There’s something about being surrounded by centuries of history while watching a film focused on the future of our planet that really stays with you. It felt reflective and meaningful, not like your typical red-carpet experience. It was a star studded event including guests Kate Winslet and Stanley Tucci.

What made the evening even more special was the dress code, which centred around repair, rewear and recycle. Instead of buying something new, I created a one-off piece using my own scrap fabrics. It felt like a small but very personal way to honour the Harmony philosophy and the values at the heart of The King’s Foundation. Wearing something made from remnants of past collections reminded me that sustainability isn’t about perfection, it’s about conscious choices and doing the best you can with what you already have.

The documentary itself is beautifully considered. It explores a lifelong commitment to the natural world, reminding us that we are part of nature, not separate from it. That idea really resonated with me. The film feels hopeful without being naive, and inspiring without being preachy. It shows how rethinking our relationship with the planet, from how we build, farm, dress and live, can create lasting impact for people, places and the environment.

I left feeling inspired and motivated to keep pushing for better ways of doing things, both personally and through my work. If you’re interested in sustainability, craft, or simply want to watch something that makes you reflect, I really recommend it.

‘Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision’ is available to watch globally on Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios Video from 6 February and it’s absolutely worth the watch.
