Last week, we had the incredible honour of attending The King’s Trust 50th Anniversary Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Even writing that still feels surreal.

The day brought together an inspiring mix of creatives, founders, young entrepreneurs and ambassadors all connected through the work and opportunities created by The King’s Trust. Walking through the gardens, surrounded by so much history and so many inspiring stories, was a moment we’ll hold onto for a very long time.

What made the experience even more meaningful was being able to attend together.
We both began our journeys in fashion with support from The King’s charities, navigating the industry as young creatives with ambition, ideas and a determination to build something of our own. To now be building Isabelle Pennington Edmead together and attending Buckingham Palace side by side felt like a very full circle moment.

For the occasion, we designed and handcrafted two custom Isabelle Pennington Edmead looks exclusively for the event.
Every detail of the garments were created by us in the studio from the early design development and fabric choices through to the final hand-finished construction. We wanted the pieces to feel elegant, timeless and personal to the brand whilst still capturing the significance of the occasion.

As a brand rooted in craftsmanship, storytelling and considered design, creating our own garments for such a special event felt incredibly important to us. There was something very emotional about standing inside Buckingham Palace wearing pieces that began as sketches and ideas in our studio.
The King’s Trust has played a huge role in our journeys. The support, guidance and opportunities we’ve received over the years have helped shape the confidence behind the brand we’re building today. It’s a reminder of how transformative opportunity can be when someone believes in your potential early on.
Moments like this make you stop and reflect on how far things can grow from a simple idea, a creative ambition or a chance someone gave you at the beginning.

We’re also excited to share that custom looks worn to Buckingham Palace are now available to rent through HURR.
We can’t wait to share more of the making process, craftsmanship and story behind the pieces very soon.
